Las Vegas, Apr 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards saw a host of winners in different categories. Some of the winners were predictable, like every other time, while some were totally out of the blue. Going by that strain, one of the most unpredictable winners was Luke Bryan, the young, first time singer who had just released his debut album. He won in the category of the New Top Artist, and, although he had managed to debut right at the top of the country music billboard charts, his win seemed rather surprising simply because he had been pitted against big names, some that the observers felt were more likely to win.

Luke Bryan was pitted against the likes of Gloriana and Joey and Rory, singers who, the observers felt, were much more likely to win in the particular category, especially because they had turned out to be more well known names, and have received huge popularity and acclaim. Luke Bryan, as he himself commented, was definitely not much expecting an award, and, as he himself commented, the reward was so very unexpected for him that he became extremely nervous when he went on to receive his award.

Luke Byran commented when he went up on stage to receive the award, he was definitely one of the most nervous people there. On stage, he thanked his parents in his acceptance speech. He receive the award in the category of the Top New Singer, for his album ‘Doin’ My Thing’, which has released only recently, and has climbed to the top of the charts almost instantly.
