Dec.16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Lt. Col. Allen West appeared in the Fox News Channel on Tuesday in the Sean Hannity show, which received wide viewership. In the interview, the Republican talked at length about a variety of issues, which included discussions about U.S. President Barack Obama as well as conservative principles.
One of the most interesting segments of the interview was when the former African American army officer highlighted his views regarding the performance of Barack Obama since he assumed his responsibilities as the President. The Republican candidate revealed that he did not believe that the U.S. President had done anything remarkable and also added that the President had failed to keep his promises. Further, explaining his views, Allen West added that the unemployment rate had also gone way above 8 percent, although the President had promised otherwise.
The former army officer is the Republican candidate running in Broward County, Florida for Congress. However, the recent television appearance is being described by many as an attempt to grab the attention of the large number of viewers of the popular show. Moreover, many people are also claiming that the interview is supposedly an initiative to make his views evident to the viewers who could help the Republican candidate financially in his campaign.
Moreover, the retired army officer also talked about the struggles that the Republican party is currently facing and also emphasized the importance of conservative principles. Meanwhile, Allen West had also run for Florida in the year 2008 but could not emerge victorious back then against the democrat candidate Ron Klein.
