London, July 21 (IANS) American actress-singer Jennifer Love Hewitt is now engaged to comedian-actor Jamie Kennedy, who had spontaneously asked for her hand in marriage while performing onstage.
Funnyman Kennedy was entertaining the audiences at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, Saturday when he pulled his “The Ghost Whisperer” girlfriend up onstage to show off her vocal skills, reports imdb.com.

An audience member then called out, “Marry her!” prompting the star to get down on one knee and propose.

The grinning actress immediately accepted as the entire crowd stood up to give the happy couple a standing ovation.
