Lou Dobbs Impressed By ‘The Good Wife’

Lou DobbsOct 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Tuesday night episode of the CBS legal drama ‘The Good Wife’ featured Lou Dobbs and the fans were surprised to see that the controversial TV host and veteran commentator did a good job in terms of acting as well. Though Lou Dobbs played himself in the episode, his performance has received rave reviews ever since the show aired.

Lou Dobbs spoke about his TV stint recently and said that he was terrified at the idea of playing himself in the ‘Double Jeopardy’ episode of ‘The Good Wife’. He explained that he was bundle of nerves when he walked into the set as he had not memorized lines since high school. He also said that when he was called for the role, his wife picked up the phone and informed him later. Considering that the show was one of his wife’s favorite, he explained that he had no choice but to accept the role.

Lou Dobbs was also all praises for the show and said that the writing of the show was brilliant. He also said that Alicia’s acting was above par and she could express so much with her body language. being asked on whose side he was on in the show (between Will and Peter), Lou Dobbs said that he was an independent. Lou Dobbs also said that he was blown over by Christine Baranski and said that she was very patient and nice to him. He also revealed that he took a total of 5 takes. Also featuring on the show was Joe Trippi who is known for his opposite political ambitions to that of Lou Dobbs.
