lost2Los Angeles, May 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ABC popular series “Lost” has dominated the rating charts for a long time now and with the final episode going on air yesterday, it has drawn expected interest from all quarters, with people especially talking about the series on Twitter. In fact “Lost” has become one of the most talked about topics on Twitter with titles such as “LOST series finale” and “Finale tonight” topping the topics list on the social networking site.

Reactions to the series in general has been mixed, with viewers twittering on the performance of the “Lost” cast members. The “Lost” final episode as scheduled went on air at 2 pm EST on Sunday and had television viewers glued to their TV sets for two and a half hours. Sadly though the audience in Australia will have to wait for another two days to watch the same episode.

It looks like the complex and very mysterious drama has a large fan following not only on television but also online, so quite naturally they wanted their questions on “Lost” to be answered in its final episode. One can only hope that the questions surrounding the real purpose of the island which serves as the backdrop to the drama, the various hook-ups during the entire season and whether any of the castaway members manage to escape or not have been answered in the final episode.

Critics all over the United States have enjoyed the finale very much, as was apparent from their comments after yesterday’s show had been aired. However one will have to sign in on Twitter to gauge whether the international audience has been satisfied or not.
