Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office: Corey Haim died of pneumonia

Los Angeles, May 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has revealed that the death of actor Corey Haim was due to pneumonia. The coroner’s office also clarified that he did not die because of drug overdose. It ought to be mentioned that there was a lot of curiosity about the death of the actor, because a huge stack of prescription drugs was found at his home, and also because he was hooked on to drugs.
Even though at the time of death, the 38-year-old Corey Haim had some low amounts of both over-the-counter and prescription drugs and some marijuana in his body, but still the coroner’s office decided that his death was not due to drugs, but rather due to pneumonia.
People were suspecting that the actor died due to a drug overdose because, he had managed to get access to around 553 prescription pills, just 2 months before he died. The California Attorney General Jerry Brown made these shocking disclosures. He also revealed that Corey Haim had managed to bag all these medications through 7 different doctors and 7 pharmacies. He also added that the medications included Valium, Vicodin, Xanax and Soma. It has also been learnt that Corey Haim also used an alias to obtain the medications at least once.
