Lord of the Rings alum Monica Singh creates a happy app

Los Angeles, Mar 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Monica Singh Harley has used her experience in the 2003 epic movie Lord of the Rings to come out with a smart phone app.

The app according to Harley has several vital apps. It has the color therapy, light therapy, “Help Yourself Happiness Guide” and sleeping therapy. This is the first time that Harley has come out with a mobile app and she hopes that with her experience in yoga, the app would be important to users.

She explained that, “I’d never really thought about apps, per se, but I thought about how I could use my background in visual effects and games to do something that was important and valuable in some way. This was our first step. It’s a tiny, little, fun app, but it’s very me.”

The app is available for iPad and iPhone and it sells for $1.99. Harley mostly built the application wrapped around her interest. She worked as the manager of the animation department of the Lord of the Rings movie and before that she worked at DreamWorks.

After the production of the Lord of the Rings movie, Harley retired to take care of her two children.
