October 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Choreographer Longinus Fernandes, well known for having composed the dance moves of Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, has revealed in a statement to the media that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is his favorite dancer. The choreographer recently completed work with the Bollywood beauty in the Sanjay Bhansali production Guzaarish. And though Longinus Fernandes has earlier worked with the crew of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and Hollywood stars like Julia Roberts in the past, it is Aishwarya who has impressed him the most! Considering that the choreographer had given Aishwarya Rai some of the most difficult moves when it came to shaking a leg in Guzaarish, little did he expect that the actress would perform with such élan.

Aishwarya’s dance to the song ‘Udi Udi’ from Guzaarish has been choreographed by Longinus Fernandes and has already become a rage on television ever since the trailers of the film were showcased on television. Before Guzaarish and ‘Slumdog Millionaire, Longinus Fernandes had been working on a number of projects with popular Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan. Speaking to the media on his experience of being a part of the crew of a Sanjay Bhansali production, Longinus Fernandes says that he was more than comfortable. And though his dream dancer took some time to get into the groove of the dance steps, the end result was nothing short of perfect!
