Feb 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The lineup for the 2010 Lollapalooza music festival has not yet been declared, but rumors are abounding. Considering that such speculations generally turn out to be true, it can be assumed that they will this time too, and it can be easily inferred that they have stemmed from some leaked information. In fact, it is widely known that the musical lineup at the Lollapalooza is one of the worst kept secrets of Tinseltown, and thus it can be pretty confidently stated that the rumors would turn out to be true this around time too.

Like every other time, this time too, the Lollapalooza boasts of some of the biggest names from the music industry of the United States. It is being speculated that the show will be highlighted by the appearance of Lady Gaga. If she does perform in the Lollapalooza, it would be definitely nostalgic for her, considering that she had performed in the side stage in 2007 as a comparatively unknown personality. Other than her, it is expected that Greenday and Soundgarden will also be performing.

Among the relatively smaller names that are being rumored to be in the lineup of the Lollapalooza music festival are the “xx”, the “Hot Chips”, the “Yeasayer”, the “Dirty Projectors,” the “Arcade Fire”, the “The Strokes” and the “Cut Copy”. The official lineup of the Lollapalooza is not expected to be released till about April. However, it is being speculated that if the rumors- which had reportedly been leaked by authentic insiders- turn out to be true, the authorities might have to change the date of the official announcement.
