Liz Taylor left her 7th husband more than $800,000 in her will
April 25th, 2011 - 11:29 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Apr 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Liz Taylor has named her 7th husband – construction worker Larry Fortensky as the beneficiary of more than $800,000 in her will. Apart from the lumpsum figure, Larry has also been getting an allowance from her for a number of years.
Despite getting such a huge settlement from the estate of the late actress, Larry insists that he is not a gold digger and wasn’t at all interested in Taylor’s money and fortune.
They had gotten married after meeting and clicking off in a rehab center. However the marriage didn’t last long and in 1996, their 5-year old marriage ended in a divorce. Larry insists that even though he was married to a top-notch actress yet he kept on working during that period.
According to The Mail on Sunday, he said that, “I am a proud man and I like to work. I didn’t want her money. I always worked for a living and I carried on when I was with her.”
About the marriage he said that, “She was funny and sweet and the more I got to know her the sweeter she became. Of course she was very pretty and I wasn’t too bad-looking in those days either. We had an instant physical attraction.”
