Liz Hurley Donates Photo of Her Son to CharityMarch 5th, 2009 - 1:24 am ICT by GD
Model Elizabeth Hurley and Jasmine Guinness went off the beaten track today when they donated personal family photos to be used on new limited-edition stamps. The stamps will be sold on eBay’s auction to raise funds for domestic violence against women for the charity Women’s Aid.
While Hurley gave a photo of her six-year old son Damien, she said, “The images I have chosen mean a lot to me as a mother and it is great that my photography can be used in a way that benefits others.”
This is the third year of the auction and in the past celebrities like Helena Christensen and Penny Lancaster have helped raise money for the charity. A Royal Mail spokesman stated, “It has proved to be so popular that we invited Elizabeth and Jasmine to come on board for 2009 and are keen to raise as much money as possible for these worthwhile causes.”
The 10-day auction is already on its first day.
Elizabeth Hurley has meanwhile gone back to her world and made a brilliant entrance at the Glamour in Gloucestershire Ball at Cheltenham Racecourse. She walked down the red carpet, flicked her luxuriant hair, flaunted a lot of leg and flashed her cleavage in one move. Hurley’s husband Arun Nayar was clearly impressed with his wife and gave her a long appreciative look when they posed for photographs together.
The 43-year old beauty was wearing a halterneck black satin gown that had a slit on the waist to show off her mile-long superbly tanned legs.
