Liz Hurley and Hugh Grant are still the best of friends despite splitting a decade ago

London, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Even though Liz Hurley and Hugh Grant split more than a decade ago, yet they still remain the best of friends. And despite being married to an Indian businessman Arun Nayar, Liz Hurley says that her former boyfriend – Hugh Grant is her best friend for life. She proclaims very candidly that, he is the ‘Number One’ for her, and there are no bones about that. She also goes on to add that they have been ‘best buddies’ for 24 years, and that itself says a lot, about their relationship.
Liz Hurley said that, “My sister Katie is my loyal best friend. But there is a part of my life neither Arun nor Katie understand; a career part and a different emotional level where Hugh is still my number one. We’ve been best friends for 24 years and that’s not nothing.”
Hugh Grant is also the godfather of Liz’s son Damian. Liz had a brief relationship with Steve Bing, and Damian was born as a result of that relationship. Liz certainly couldn’t think of a better person to have as a godfather for her son Damian. She says that he is an excellent godfather to her son. She also adds that even though they are neighbors in London, yet Hugh has his own room in her house.
