“Live To Dance” Contestant Falters On Stage

injuryJan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Live To Dance”, the new dance reality show, launched by Paula Abdul, took off yesterday with a bang. And it was a bang indeed, as right on the first episode, a young and unidentified contestant, was subjected to a head banging injury, as she was trying to impress the judges with her groovy steps. Needless to say that it is perhaps just the start of several injuries, that are almost synonymous to every dance reality shows.

The young girl was trying a mid air turn, while she was performing in front of the judges. The injury rather seemed like a sudden bolt from the blue, as she fell right from her face, and was clueless about what had happened for a moment. She said that perhaps she has slammed her head. Apparently, her head landed before her body, that that resulted to the injury. The ever warm Paula Abdul, approved that she has indeed slammed her head and asked whether she was alright. The girl said that she could not feel the injury. However, she was bound to face its wrath after sometime, as it was quite a big bang. Nevertheless, Paula Abdul was very much impressed by her sporting nature and the way she handled the accident was just incredible according to the beautiful lady.

Paula Abdul also said that she was a beautiful dancer, but accidents in a dance competition, at the amateurish level are are likely to happen. Co-anchor Erica Hill said, that it was an unfortunate incident to have happened on first episode of the show. She even saw a black and blue bump on her head after sometime. However, the contestant was soon taken out of the stage for medical help.
