Liv Tyler is proud of her father’s American Idol role
March 23rd, 2011 - 1:34 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Liv Tyler has praised her father for his role in the “American Idol” show. Liv revealed that her father, Steven Tyler, is making her proud on the show.
During an interview with MTV News, Liv said that, “I haven’t been watching every single [episode], which I feel really bad about, but I’ve been watching a lot and I love it. I feel really proud of him and happy for him. He’s had a rough few years, a couple of years in particular, and I’m really happy for him that he’s enjoying himself so much.”
She granted the interview while on a tour to promote her new movie “Super.” She indicated that she has always known her father saying she is glad that the whole of America and the world at large is getting to know that now.
Steven Tyler has brought his own dynamism to the show. He is one of the two new faces on the show’s panel of judges following the exit of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. His gentleness on contestants and sense of humor has got many contestants relaxed during their performance. Jennifer Lopez is the other new judge on the show.
