Los Angeles, Mar 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Who Do You Think You Are,” that happens to be a celebrity genealogy program will be featuring actress Lisa Kudrow in its upcoming episode. This American celebrity genealogy concept is said to have been derived from a British show of the same genre. Lisa Kudrow, who will be featured in the upcoming episode of the show also happens to be the executive producer for the same. In this episode Lisa Kudrow will be tracking down her family history.
The only information that Lisa banks upon is her dad”s words when he was young. Lee Kudrow, her father used to dwell in the village Ilia which now falls under the district of modern Belarus. Her father was six years old when he was visited by a man called Uri who reported how the brutal Nazis were butchering people. He also said that they killed his mother (that would be the actress’s grandmother), Meri Mordejovich.
Her father could only recall that Uri died soon after but the family or the actress seems to be still taking hits in the dark not knowing what really happened. This is where the genealogy show takes the story forward in unveiling the dark facets of Lisa Kudrow’s family as the actress makes extensive tours to Minsk to discover the latent history of her family. In her mission, she is accompanied by Jewish history expert, Tamara Vershitskaya. When asked about it, Lisa Kudrow said that it was very exciting for her to have delved deep into the past, digging out the unknown about her family. The genealogy show will soon be featuring other celebrities like actress Brooke Shields and Susan Sarandon.
