New York, Jan 09 (ANI): Hollywood actress Lisa Bonet has chosen a rather unique name for her newborn Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, it has emerged.

Bonet has beaten all the bizarre celebrity baby names including Ashlee Simpson’’s sons Bronx Mowgli, as she has reportedly christened her child with an incredibly long name, according to reports.

“The Cosby Show” star, 41, now goes by the name Lilakoi Moon and this baby with actor boyfriend Jason Momoa (”Stargate Atlantis”) is her third child.

Monet, who is currently on the ABC show “Life on Mars,” also has a 20-month-old daughter Lola with Momoa and a 20-year-old daughter Zoe with ex-hubby rocker Lenny Kravitz., reports The New York Daily News.

According to a fan site for Momoa, the name translates as such: Nakoa (warrior) Mana(strength/spirit) Kaua(rain) po(dark). (ANI)

It’s a well intentioned move for them to give this child a Hawaiian name, but the segment of the name, Manakauapo, is not grammatical in any shape or form. The mother explains that mana is intended to mean power, kaua is intended to mean rain, and po is intended to mean night. However, kaua does not mean rain; ua does. Ka is a definite article that precedes nouns. The words were randomly slapped together by Jason’s Hawaiian mother who speaks no Hawaiian. It’s an unfortunate example of how poorly the language is fairing.
