Lisa Blount of ‘Officer and a Gentleman’ Dies Age 53

Lisa Blount Oct 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Steve Rohr, publicist for Oscar Award winning actress Lisa Blount has confirmed that she has passed away at the age of fifty-three. Although a reason for the death has not yet been determined,the Pulaski County Coroner, Garland Camper stated that there did not seem to be any evidence of foul play, and that she had likely died on Monday.

Blont won an academy award back in 2001 for her work in the film ‘The Accountant’. Her husband, Ray McKinnon also starred in the movie, as well as directed it.

She also obtained a Golden Globe Award nod for her part as Debra Winger’s best friend in ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’, which was made in 1982. She was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas and was living in Little Rock at the time of her death.
