vonn1Vancouver, Canada, Feb 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods is drawing attention from all quarters. Even from those busy securing one gold after the other in the ongoing Winter Olympics, far away in Vancouver, in Canada. Following his very public apology, the criticisms, remarks, and not to mention, the jokes, have increased manifold. Of late, another athlete have poked some fun at the disgraced, and now repentant golfer. Lindsey Vonn, the gold medalist in this year’s Winter Olympics, has been quoted as mocking Tiger Woods while in an interview with one of the leading magazines of the day.

Lindsey Vonn has been quoted as saying to the magazine, on hearing that Tiger Woods had been hugged by friends and family after his apologetic acceptance of all his paramours, that those who hugged him possibly whispered in his ears some words of encouragement. Not in the line of anything positive, however. According to Lindsay Vonn, his supporters probably congratulated him on having so many affairs consecutively, encouraging him to go on and have all that sex.

Not one to leave it at that, Lindsay Vonn continued to have some more fun at the expense of Tiger Woods’ philandering. She further conjured up a skit for “Saturday Night Live,” the popular comedy and spoof show, in which she visualized herself as one of the actors, going up on stage to hold a press conference similar to the one called by Tiger Woods. Pretending that she is reading from the fictitious script, Lindsey Vonn mimicked the repentant voice of the golfer, confessing that she too has a sex addiction problem, and that Tiger Woods is her idol. The whole thing, she felt, if done would be “freaking funny.”
