Lindsay Lohan is making news once more, early in this week, when she was found stuttering around flashing a brand new tattoo.

The “Mean Girls” actress has supposedly paid a tribute to her favorite actress Marilyn Monroe. This “tattoo tribute” follows close on the heels of other such homages as Lohan posing for the cover shoots of numerous magazines, dressed as the late actress. Lohan has even stated many times on earlier occasions, that she absolutely idolizes the actress.

Lilo also had a previous Marilyn Monroe quote tattooed when she had broken up with on-and-off lover, the celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson, which reads, “Everyone’s a star and deserves the right to twinkle,” highlighted with yellow, blue and green stars. The star showed off her newly acquired tattoo in El Lay this weekend. The quote is supposed to read, “I restore myself when I’m alone.” It has been inked on to her inner right forearm and is written in cursive, surrounded by colorful stars. The other quote is on her wrist.

Is she taking her obsession with Monroe too far? That is what people are seeking to know, as Lohan gradually turns her body in to a canvas of all Marilyn Monroe quotes. Or is she trying to give other celebs competition over the whole Chasing Monroe thing.

Lohan has said that recreating Monroe’s legendary final photo shoot of 1962, for the spring collection of New York magazine, has been the most memorable of all her shoots till now. Posing on the cover of the magazine Spanish Vogue, as Marilyn, that had given her a very joyous feeling.
