Lindsay Lohan’s Jail Term Bad For Her Career

lindsay1 July 10, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, who was jailed for 90 days last month, is now bearing the brunt of the sentence. She is being avoided from the first trailer of her upcoming film Machete, which is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis.

The trailer of upcoming film of the 24 year old actress does not have her name in the end credits. Two months back, the first teaser of the upcoming movie was published just three days after Lohan’s three months imprisonment following the violation of the terms of probation on a DUI arrest two years back.

Lohan may be serving jail term when her film releases in September this year, which stars Danny Trejo and Steven Seagal.

The makers of her another movie Inferno has offered some relief to this troubled actress. They have promised to start filming as soon as she completes her sentence.

Lindsay was sentenced to a jail term of 90 days on June 7 2010 by a Los Angeles judge, which will be followed by a compulsory 90 days in a drug rehabilitation center. In a way, the imprisonment will cost her, her growing career.

The Freaky Friday star got her first break with the Hollywood films in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. Soon, she was loved by the Americans and went to star in films like Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls, Just My Luck, A Prairie Home Companion and many others.

Lindsay also appeared in many television shows like ‘Another World,’ ‘Bette’, Ugly Betty’ and few others.

The growth of Lindsay’s career will be decided only after her sentence is completed. Till then we can just wish her good luck so that she can revive her career soon!
