Sep 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It looks like ‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan is struggling not just to stay out of the limelight but also jail. On Friday, the ‘Freaky Friday’ actress was taken into custody after she failed a mandatory drug test. The judge at the Los Angeles County Superior Court ordered her to be jailed till October 22 without bail. In what could have become another huge setback to the career of the star had another twist in store. Immediately after the court ruling, Lindsay Lohan’s attorney challenged the decision of the court to hold her client without bail.

After the case was challenged to another judge, Lindsay Lohan was granted a $300,000 bail. The second judge who overturned the decision of the judge after the challenge by the attorney of Lindsay Lohan ordered Lindsay Lohan to wear the SCRAM bracelet again. The SCRAM bracelet became a part of Lindsay Lohan’s identity during the run up to her last jail sentence. The new scram will not just refrain her from the consumption of alcohol and drugs but also not allow to go to place where any of the intoxicating agents are being consumed. She will also be subject to immediate search by the law enforcement.

Though Lindsay Lohan’s attorney showed confidence after the first judgment, that was overturned by the second judge, some experts think that there is more legal drama to follow for the starlet. Considering that breaking the law during the probation could have some serious legal consequences for the actor, the jailing and the drama could also have an impact on her career which was showing signs of taking off again recently.
