Lindsay Lohan Sues E-Trade Over Milkaholic Baby Ad

Mar 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan, in what some people are calling a “fantasy that is out of touch with reality,” has announced that she is suing the company known as “E-Trade” for the milkaholic baby ad that was released by them during the Superbowl.
The commercial in question shows a baby boy sitting in his high chair, at his computer desk, as is seen in many of the “chatty baby” ads E-Trade is famous for. He is apologizing to his girlfriend, another chatty baby, because he didn’t call her the night before, explaining that he was busy buying stock on E-Trade. The baby girl asks, “And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?” The boy, looking uncomfortable, replies, “Lindsay?” just as another baby girl pops on to the screen at the boy’s house and asks, “Milk-a-what?” The entire commercial can be seen embedded below.
Now Lohan has filed a one hundred million dollar (yes folks, I said million) lawsuit against E-Trade in the Nassau County, New York. Her attorney, Stephanie Ovadia was not returning phone calls as of press time, according to MTV. Ovadia has filed the huge lawsuit in Lohan’s behalf, seeking $50 million in compensatory damages and $50 million of exemplary damages. She is also demanding the E-Trade immediately stop airing the commercials, and hand over every copy that had been made. The lawsuit claims that Lohan has the same “single-name recognition” as stars like Cher, Madonna, Pink, and so forth. Lohan, via Ovadia, claims that E-Trade “improperly invoked her likeness, name, characterization and personality without permission, violating her right of privacy.” E-Trade has responded that the name “Lindsay” was actually in honor of someone on their account team.
So while it seems that Lohan is proclaiming herself to be an addictive boyfriend stealing baby, E-Trade is getting a whole lot of recognition, and this commercial has most definitely been seen a lot more often. They couldn’t get better media recognition if they paid for it. Good job Lindsay!

What a joke!!!! Lindsey needs to grow up! These commercials are all very funny. I never associated her with this ad, nor has anyone I know. She has become a has-been and needs to make money somewhere. I hope E-Trade does not have to pay her anything and that this ad makes it back on the air.
