Lindsay Lohan Sep 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A lawyer for Lindsay Lohan has announced that the actress has reached an agreement with the brokerage firm, E-Trade Financial Corp for an out-of-court settlement.

The actress sued E-Trade Financial Corp for $100million for what she claimed was a joke on her. The company’s Super Bowl advertisement in 2010 featuring talking babies remarked “milkaholic” named Lindsay. Both parties to the agreement have remained quiet on the details of the settlement.

The settlement will help Lohan to concentrate on her new courtroom battle. A judge has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the actress for violating her probation terms. The actress failed a mandated drug test and she tweeted to confirm that she has failed her test.

She tweeted that “Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test”. She however maintained that issues of drug-use do not go away easily. If that argument will hold up for the judge remains to be seen. Date of the test has not emerged but sources say the test was “recent”.

Lohan was recently released from jail earlier, than she should have been and a judge assigned to her case told the actress to pass mandated twice a week random drug and alcohol test to stay out of jail, ahead of her scheduled November 1 hearing.
