Lindsay Lohan Settles Boutique Case From Rehab

August 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Troubled actress and pop singer Lindsay Lohan is really going through a bad phase in her life. The 24 year old actress has already spent few days in jail and is now in rehab, but this is not the end of her trauma. A Los Angeles boutique has filed a lawsuit against her saying that the actress did not pay a bill of $16,880.63.
However, Lindsay has now managed to come out of this by agreeing to pay the whole amount plus something extra, and the boutique has also agreed to drop the suit. As per the lawsuit, she had outstanding bills for purchasing jewelry, clothing, and other accessories. The boutique served her papers last month regarding this when she was about to be sentenced for a jail term for the violation of probation from a 2007 DUI arrest.
Lohan has reportedly offered the boutique a cheque for the full amount and something extra for the shopping done from November 2009 to February 2010. She purchased two pairs of expensive ostrich and snake skin stilettos along with some other items. After buying the items, Lindsay said that the bills would be cleared by her business manager, which was never done. The manager had only paid a partial amount of $180.
