Lindsay Lohan Sends “Cease and Desist” Letter to Dad, Michael

Lindsay Lohan Sep 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan has reportedly sent a very firey “cease and desist” letter to the father, Michael, ordering the man to stop selling her personal property, and calling his actions “shameful” according to RadarOnline.

Private journal entries which were written by Lindsay while she was in a drug rehab center in 2007 at Cirque Lodge, located in Utah were supposedly among the items which Michael was attempting to sell. The cease and desist letter was sent legally, by Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, to Michael’s representative, Lisa Bloom.

In the letter, Lohan states that she did not know her father had access to her journal and had certainly not given him permission to sell any part of it.It was dated the day before the actress was released from her court ordered rehab. Chapman Holley said that Michael trying to cash in on his daughter’s privacy is shameful and that Lohan was appalled.

In edition, the letter stated that if Michael attempts to sell any part of the journals, or any of Lohan’s other belongings, then she will exercise her legal rights and sue for damages and “grave invasion of privacy.”
