Lindsay Lohan released from jail

Lynwood, Calif., Nov 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan was released from jail less than five hours after she reported to serve a 30-day sentence. The Mean Girls star checked into the Los Angeles County Jail on Sunday evening but she was released early Monday morning.
The actress was given a jail term because she violated her probation. It is believed that the prison officers at the Century Regional Detention facility in Lynwood decided to release her early because of overcrowding.
The judge ordered that Lohan should complete her mandated community service at the county morgue. If she defaults, the judge orders that the actress should be given further 270 days prison term. This is the fifth time that the 25-year-old actress has been sent to jail.
In most of the cases the actress has been released earlier than the term imposed on her. Lohan is currently serving her probation as part of the sentence she was given for stealing a necklace at a boutique in Venice.
She has to spend a total of 423 hours working at the county morgue. Most of the jobs assigned to her have been mopping the floors and washing used sheets. She has worked at the morgue for two weeks now.
