Lindsay Lohan LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — Lindsay Lohan, who a decade ago was one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses, left the Los Angeles Count Jail on early Monday despite being convicted to 90 days in jail, officials said.

The actress from “Mean Girls”, “Freaky Friday”, “Herbie” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, entered the Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, a town about 30 miles (48 kilometers) south of Los Angeles, on July 20 to fulfill a sentence of 90 days.

Lohan, 24, was sentenced by Judge Marsha Revel for violating her probation two times after she was sentenced to three years of probation for Driving under the influence of alcohol in 2007. The judge also forced her to comply with a program to control abuse of banned substances.

Officials on Monday morning said that Lohan had left the jail at approximately 1.35 a.m. PDT and is now heading straight to rehab at an unspecified facility. TMZ.com, however, reported that she was heading for treatment at UCLA Medical Center.

On Sunday, gossip website Radar Online reported that Lohan would be released shortly after midnight to go to rehab after a judge had decided that Morningside Recovery was no longer the best choice. According to the report, Revel became concerned that Lohan could have drugs snuck into the Costa Mesa-based rehabilitation facility by the public.
