Washington, Oct 22 (ANI): Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan is said to have turned green with envy after learning that her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson had a wild night out with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

The trio went out dancing and drinking at Playhouse Hollywood, where they did shots of lemon drops and danced together in the VIP room.

At one point, Richie even managed to coax Ronson to get in the DJ booth and spin some of their favourite songs, and when Lohan heard about how they were acting like best friends, she was very unhappy.

“When Lindsay found out that Sam was out with Nicole, she was not happy!” Fox News quoted an insider as saying.

The source also explained that Lohan and Richie had once been best friends, but had grown apart following the actress’s run-in with the law.

“Since Lindsay’s return to court last week, she has to be extra careful for probation, and [hearing about] Sam out with Nicole hurt her,” the source said.

“Nicole has made it very clear to Lindsay and to their mutual friends that she wants a better life for her.

“Nicole hopes Lindsay will get it together and change her behaviour, but until she makes a change, Nicole avoids her.

“Sam loves Nicole and Joel and she cares deeply about Lindsay.

“She in no way wants to hurt her, but Sam will not drop her friendship with Nicole.

“Lindsay takes her hanging out with Nicole personally [and] as an attack on their on/off relationship,” the source added. (ANI)
