London, March 13 (IANS) Socialite Paris Hilton has defended troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who was recently charged with stealing a necklace from an upmarket boutique, insisting that the “Mean Girls” actress is a “good person”.
“Lindsay is a good person so I want her to turn it around. We haven’t been in touch recently because our lives have taken a different direction but I only wish her the best,” contactmusic.com quoted Hilton as saying.
The necklace that actress Lindsay Lohan is accused of stealing from a jewellery store will be auctioned for charity.
Lohan is facing a grand theft charge and a possible prison sentence if she is found to have stolen the necklace from the Kamofie & Company store in Venice, California, in January.
