June 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Getting into trouble, one after another, seems to have become Lindsay Lohan’s destiny. The latest in her series of ongoing troubles is the setting off of the alcohol detection bracelet that she was ordered to wear by the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The judge has issued an arrest warrant against her for violating the terms of her bail, which clearly required her to wear the alcohol detection bracelet all the time. Judge Marsha Revel also raised her bail to $200000 but later a bond was posted which has delayed the arrest until next month’s hearing.

The alarm of the device sounded on Sunday, the MTV Movie Awards night where Lohan was present. It wasn’t clear if Lohan had had alcohol during the award function because the alarm sounds even when the bracelet is tampered with. But it hardly made a difference to Judge Marsha Revel, who called the prosecutors in and Lohan’s attorneys into court for a closed session.

Lohan, herself was not present in court, and has been twitting about her innocence. She wrote that she hasn’t done anything wrong for the alarm to go off.

The device, also known as a SCRAM, or Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor, was fitted on Lohan’s ankle at the Beverly Hills courthouse after she failed to show up for a mandatory hearing of her probation.
