July 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan is in need of help. The starlet has suffered a number of setbacks in the recent past. After having been sentenced to three months in jail for not attending alcohol education classes and losing her legal battle with E-Trade, the 24 year old actress is now keeping her fingers crossed in the hope that a new lawyer will pull her out of the mess that she has landed in.
Lindsay Lohan’s former lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is defending her in court no more. A formal statement was not released by the lawyer as to the reason of her sudden departure and the news is that Lindsay Lohan will now hire Chicago based attorney Stuart V. Goldberg who hopefully will help the actress come out of court with a smile on her face.
According to some reports making the rounds in the media, Stuart V. Goldberg went into a long round of talks with Lindsay Lohan’s sister Ali and her mother Dina for almost six hours on Friday. Her new lawyer is a criminal defense attorney working from Chicago.
Lindsay Lohan was last seen in court after the pronouncement of the sentence which passed orders for the actress to be jailed for 90 days. The 24 year old was photographed crying and requesting the judge to forgive her, stressing on the fact that she was not aware of the exact days during which she had to be present in the probation classes. The actress said that she had not been informed by the judge who had passed the order about the exact day when she had to attend the classes.

The way I view this situation is if anyone else that was without money did what she did they would also get sentenced to jail and probation. Hats off to the legal system for not allowing her to buy her way out. She wouldnt be in jail if she had followed the rules.
