lohan1July 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lindsay Lohan is surely in troubled times these days. The actress has already been convicted to prison for three months, and if that is not enough, her legal war with E-Trade has also not brought about favorable results for Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan had filed a complaint against E-trade, a financial firm based in Manhattan, in response to a commercial film featured by the firm which showcases a small baby with the name of Lindsay. The Hollywood starlet was of the opinion that the baby had been named after her and so sued the firm in court. The decision of the court though is not in her favor, and media reports claim that a “milkaholic” can hardly be compared to Lindsay Lohan.

The E-Trade commercial shows baby Lindsay trying to attract another little girl’s boyfriend towards herself. Following this commercial, the actress Lindsay Lohan had filed a $100 million lawsuit in the Nassau County Supreme Court, with the actress’ lawyers claiming that Nassau County is the place where the actress lives. However E-Trade was of the opinion that the case should be shifted to the Manhattan courts since Manhattan is where the head office of the financial is located. Justice James Yates of the Manhattan Supreme Court ruled in favor of E-Trade allowing the firm to fight the case in Manhattan.

While Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Stephanie Ovadia did not respond to the judgement that was passed, James Yates says that since the plaintiff, Lindsay Lohan could not show proper proof of how she divided her time between her two homes and when exactly she stayed in her Nassau County residence, the court was bound to pass the verdict in favor of E-Trade.
