Lindsay Lohan faces her court deadline today
March 24th, 2011 - 1:08 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan does not have forever to decide whether to accept the plea bargain offered by the prosecutors or not.
The 24-year-old has been given up to the end of today to decide whether she will accept the plea bargain or not. If she accepts the deal she could face reduced time in jail but refusing it means she would be heading back to court to battle felony grand theft charge. Lohan’s lawyer is all for the plea bargain and reports indicate that she has advised Lohan to accept the plea.
If Lohan accepts the plea bargain she would be heading to the Los Angeles County Superior Court this Friday otherwise her next court due date would be on the 22nd of April.
It may be recalled that Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a boutique back in 22nd of January. Surveillance camera at Kamofie and Company captured Lohan walking away with the jewelry without paying. Lohan’s rep returned the jewelry to the police when they obtained a search warrant to search the house of the ‘Mean Girls’ star.
Lohan is determined to stay out of trouble and get her career back on the right track.
