On Wednesday afternoon, the twenty two year old actress Lindsay Lohan was seen posing for the photo-shoot of Spanish Vogue. It was a bright sunny afternoon in Los Angeles where the shoot was taking place and Lindsay was in the best of her moods, posing as she was as her favorite Marlyn Monroe. The photo-shoot has been in news because of the Marilyn Monroe like get-up that Lindsay has recreated for it. Lindsay had earlier this year recreated the famous 1962 nude shots of Marilyn. Lindsay looked to be in good health and great spirits donning the curly blond wig now so symbolic of Monroe and she also wore a billowing dress with Marily’s huge image printed on it.

The Marilyn Monroe-esque hair was created for Lindsay Lohan by Andy LeCompte, a well known celebrity hairstylist. Lindsay seems to be rather fascinated by the star. last month she got herself a tattoo on her wrist that says, “Everyone’s a star and deserves to sparkle.” It is yet to be seen how long her fascination continues, but the Vogue photoshoot is sure to be a treat for both Marilyn and Lindsay’s fans. Lindsay’s interest in Monroe took had taken root a decade ago. That was when Lohan saw multiple viewings of Niagara.

At that time The Parent Trap was being filmed in London. Lohan has also purchased an apartment once occupied by Marilyn. She has earlier said that her house has a lot of Marilyn stuff, including a huge painting of the late star.
