Beverly Hills, May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A judge has ordered actress Lindsay Lohan to wear an ‘alcohol monitoring device’. And that is not all, she has also been asked to have weekly random drug and alcohol tests in LA. The Beverly Hills judge Marsha Revel was so harsh with the actress, as she had failed to turn up for court hearings in the 2007 drunk driving case. It ought to be mentioned that she had missed the last court hearing because she was in Cannes, in connection with the promotion of her movie. Her lawyer had said that she couldn’t turn up for the court date because her passport was stolen. An arrest warrant was also issued against her, but it was recalled later.

On Monday she turned up at the scheduled court hearing, but she was late by 10 minutes. She was dressed in a white shirt and black pantsuit. The random drug testing idea didn’t click with Lohan, because she needs to go to Texas in connection with the filming of a movie. “I am afraid she is going to have to delay them,” Revel said. “She needs to submit to random testing here, not in Texas.”

The judge also ordered a probation violation against Lindsay Lohan, which is scheduled for 6th July. It seems that there could be more hard times and harsh orders against her.
