Lindsay Lohan And The Jail Sentence

July 7, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): It has been reported that a judge had sentenced Lindsay Lohan the US actress/pop singer to 90 days or approximately 3 months in jail. The judge also has sentenced her to an inpatient rehabilitation program, as she had violated the trial in a drug case in the year 2007.
The actress/singer was seen bursting out in tears after hearing the verdict. She was sentenced to this jail-time as she had absolutely failed to attend alcohol edification courses that she was subjected to. Lindsay had missed a total of seven of these aforementioned classes from December. The superior court judge Marsha Revel announced the sentence, when she heard several testimonials from the people who are all employed of a particular alcohol management course. Miss. Lohan was supposed to attend each and every one of them.
She missed out the classes since the month of December and therefore had to face some rude verbal ordeal after which she apologized with tears in her eyes.
However, her tearful apology failed to appease the superior court judge Marsha Revel and she didn’t pardon her. She further stated that, Lohan’s ‘apology’ was simply insincere. Lohan would be taken in custody on the 20 th of July this year; till then she is compelled to wear an alcohol monitor on her ankle.
LA based spokeswoman for the County district Jan Robison stated that it wasn’t at all strange or untypical of a judge to permit the defendants to turn in themselves at a later scheduled date. This helps them to sort out their affairs.
