Lindsay Lohan Accused Of Necklace Theft

Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that trouble is once again brewing for actress Lindsay Lohan who has again come under the legal scanner for having allegedly stolen a gold necklace from a South California based jewelry store. Investigators have reported to the Los Angeles court that the actress had tried the necklace at the store shortly before it went missing. The Hollywood star however, has rubbished away the reports calling them completely baseless.
According to sources, investigators had a search warrant for investigation. However, before legal authorities could go for any searches, one of the actress’ aides is said to have returned the gold necklace. Trouble surfaced for the “Mean Girls” star after media spotted the actress wearing the necklace recently. Along with the paparazzi shot, a surveillance video also shows that the actress had tried out the neck piece which is worth 2,500-dollar last week at the posh Venice Beach boutique in California. However, it still remains a question if Kamofie jewellery boutique owner will be pressing theft charges against her or not. Even if the store owner declines to label charges against the star, it certainly does not let Lindsay Lohan go away from the spot light.
The actress has simply become controversy’s favorite child for her infamous acts ranging from driving in a drunken state to having assaulted a rehab clinic worker or getting involved in a controversy with some fellow actor. It has been not much time since the actress has come out of the Betty Ford rehab clinic where she was ordered for a three month rehab treatment by the court. Lindsay Lohan now will once again make a court appearance on February 25.
