Los Angeles, June 27 (IANS) Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has come forward in support of the gay community by joining the No Hate (NoH8) campaign.
Lohan has followed in the footsteps of celebrities like reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rocker Pete Wentz.
Contactmusic.com reports that she will shoot a new advert urging people not to bully gays.
Lohan took the decision to join the campaign after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill to legalise gay unions in the state.
After the announcement, she posted on her Twitter page: “Proud to be From NY! Nice work to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.”
