Limp Bizkit’s new album will be “like stepping into a haunted house”
June 19th, 2009 - 4:46 pm ICT by ANIWashington, June 19 (ANI): As anticipation grows among Limp Bizkit fans for their new album, the band have revealed that their comeback LP will be “like stepping into a haunted house”.
The album is going to be a comeback for the rockers after their last release ‘The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)’ in 2005.
Frontman Fred Durst has hinted that no definite type of music is guaranteed.
“Every time we’ve made an album it’s been so different. It’s like stepping into a haunted house - you know there’s an entrance and an exit door - but you don’t know what’s inside. It could be fun or it could be spooky,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
The members have also shared that the reason behind them coming together once again is the rueful state of popular music.
In a joint statement issued by Fred and guitarist Wes Borland, they wrote: “We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other.
“Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognise there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back.” (ANI)
