Lily wants extra security for wedding
June 2nd, 2011 - 1:51 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 2 (IANS) Pop star Lily Allen is doing all it takes to keep away fanatic fans and photographers from her wedding venue. She wants extra police personnel on the D-day.
The 26-year-old will tie the knot with builder Sam Cooper June 11 at Cranham, northeast of London.
The main road around the village will be closed, and the locals would get passes to gain entry, reports thesun.co.uk.
“The couple agreed to pay for extra officers. They will ensure minimal disruption,” said a police spokesperson.
The pair began dating in 2009 and announced their engagement in December.
