May 21st, 2010 - 6:12 pm ICT by IANSLondon, May 21 (IANS) Singer Lily Allen scored a hat-trick by winning three trophies at the Ivor Novello Awards that honour songwriters and composers.
Allen won in the categories for best song musically and lyrically, most performed work for her track “The Fear”, and songwriter of the year at the gala event Thursday, reports express.co.uk.
Talking about “The Fear”, she said: “This song is so much about feeling so lost. It has made me feel quite found all of a sudden.”
The 25-year-old singer is planning to retire from singing later this year to concentrate on starting a family and running a designer clothes hire shop.
