London, Jan 3 (IANS) Lily Allen, one of the most popular pop stars of Britain, now has a new goal - she wants to quit music and become a mother.
The 24-year-old wants to move to the countryside with builder boyfriend Sam Cooper and start a family.

“I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, that’s my goal really,” she told The People.

“I’m not a careerist, what I really want is to be a mum. I am driven, but that drive goes as far as keeping a roof over my head and having a routine. I have been in a relationship for six or seven months now and its going really well, so why not?”

Lily, 24, has reportedly bought a five-bedroom house in the Cotswolds.

Meanwhile, she has put her three-bedroom North London flat up for rent at 750 pounds (more than $1,200) per week and taken a short-term agreement on a townhouse in Marylebone.

The move comes two years after Lily miscarried the baby she was expecting with Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.

“Losing the baby hit me like a house collapsing, it was awful. It hit me when the baby’s due date came around,” she said.

Following months of therapy Lily moved on with her life, and says, “I’m blissfully happy now. Despite me being on tour for most of last year, we have managed to make it work, you know.”
