Los Angeles, Mar 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lily Allen has urged her fans to shun a TV show about her life claiming that the footage has ‘embarrassed’ her greatly.

The irony of the whole episode is the fact that she allowed the cameras to follow her during the filming of the show last year. She was preparing to launch her designer clothing shop when the show was filmed.

The new show titled ‘Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags’ reveals the singer’s admission that she has an eating disorder. She also talked about her miscarriage last year. The rock star suffered miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.

In her plea for her fans to shun the show, Lily tweeted that, “I’m inclined to ask you not to watch it cause quite frankly I am embarrassed. On the other hand I want you all to watch it so you can see how the press coverage of it has been totally sensationalised and quotes taken out of context.”

Her subsequent tweets explained why she was making the U-turn. Her tweet claimed that she was ‘naïve’ to speak about her personal life when in fact the show was meant to be ‘about sisters starting a business’.

The show would be airing next week Tuesday on Channel 4.
