Mar 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Pop star Lily Allen and rock musician Courtney Love have been hitting headlines lately after the two celebrities got involved in a rather ugly altercation at an awards which was held recently. The two stars came to blow with each other at the NME awards function with the fight between them getting so intense that reportedly they had to be pulled away.

According to reports, the row between the two celebrities is said to have escalated after Lily Allen described the American rock musician ‘crazy’ as well as a ‘paranoid drug-addled lunatic’. At the same time, following the dispute, the two musical artist have resorted to a popular social networking site to give their reactions about the ‘disagreement’ between them. In a post on her Twitter home page, Lily Allen has brushed away reports of any ‘bust-up’ with the Celebrity Skin hitmaker and has insisted that the interaction that she had with the rock musician was just an ‘exchange of words’.

The NME awards ceremony which was held last Wednesday in London gained much attention owing to the ugly brawl between the two celebrities. The incident surely took the people who were present at the event by surprise when the casual chat between the two musical artist escalated into a full fledged brawl. Although, the British singer is now brushing away the incident as simply an exchange of words, reports claim that she had to flee the award ceremony in tears following the altercation with Courtney Love and was escorted out by her boyfriend Sam Cooper.
