New York, July 17 (ANI): Troubled star Lindsay Lohan’s new attorney is Robert Shapiro, who has previously represented O.J. Simpson.
Shapiro has confirmed representing LiLo in her drug and alcohol case but only on the condition that the star serves her jail sentence.
“I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel,” the New York Post quoted Shapiro as saying.
“Ms. Lohan is suffering from a disease that I am all too familiar with. Hopefully, I can be of assistance to Ms. Lohan and Judge Revel in implementing a treatment approach recommended by medical professionals for Ms. Lohan’s long term recovery and sobriety,” he added.
Previously, Shawn Chapman Holley represented the star in the case. (ANI)
