LiLo to go to the same rehab where Britney was treated

New York, August 03 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan is all set to start her 90-day stint at the same rehab centre where Britney Spears was treated, it has emerged.
Though UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital officials in Westwood have refused to verify Lohan’s admission, citing patient confidentiality, the actress was transported from jail to the facility to complete 90 days of in-patient treatment.
The hospital, which treated Britney after her breakdown in early 2008, specializes in combined psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
“It’s strict, it’s not plush. It’s a down-to-earth real therapeutic community that will deal with her underlying issues,” the New York Daily News quoted Beverly Hills-based addiction specialist Marty Brenner as saying.
Judge Marsha Revel made the last-minute switch to UCLA over concerns visitors might be able to pass contraband to Lohan, a source said.
A Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed that a “designated driver” took the “Mean Girls” star directly to rehab from a back exit of the jail that bypassed media waiting at the usual inmate release door.
Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told that she rode with her client to the hospital.
“We had to comply with the wishes of the court, and safety and security were the paramount concerns. It wasn’t special treatment,” Whitmore added. (ANI)
