LiLo poised to avoid jail term in necklace theft case

Washington, May 04 (ANI): It has emerged that Lindsay Lohan is poised to avoid jail entirely in necklace theft case, despite her 120-day sentence.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department — which runs the jail where Lohan must serve her sentence, for non-violent, misdemeanour offences, the Sheriff’s Department routinely allows inmates to serve their time at home, provided they wear an electronic monitoring device.
According to the report, L.A. County Probation Dept. is down with non-violent, misdemeanour offenders serving time at home.
Earlier, Judge Stephanie Sautner has made it clear that the “Mean Girls’ star will be treated just like any other defendant. (ANI)
