Lilly Allen backs out on retirement plan to tour again
September 28th, 2009 - 5:53 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sept 28 (ANI): Lily Allen has made a record of sorts by retiring for the shortest time in the history of pop music, for she has announced a co-headline tour with Dizzee Rascal just four days after declaring to hang up her mic.
The duo is slated to perform on March 5, 2010, at Manchester MEN Arena and on March 7, 2010, at London’s O2, reports the Sun.
The ‘Smile’ singer earlier announced her retirement on her new blog It’s Not Alright, and said that she was looking forward to doing new things.
Allen even said that she would concentrate on a new stage show titled ‘Reasons To Be Pretty’.
And some time before that, she had said: “I’m not going to record and tour again for quite a while.” (ANI)
