Lil Waynev read Bible first time in jail
January 20th, 2011 - 2:14 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Jan 20 (IANS) Singer Lil Wayne has revealed that he read Bible for the first time while serving eight months in jail for weapons possession charges dating back to 2007. “(I) read the Bible for the first time. It was deep! I liked the parts where some character was once this, but he ended up being that. Like he’d be dissing (insulting) Jesus, and then he ends up being a saint. That was cool,” Wayne told Rolling Stones magazine.
Wayne also filled his time behind bars by reading a number of biographies about stars including Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Marvin Gaye, reports aceshowbiz.com.
