Recently, he has featured in pop diva Shakira’s work, “Give It Up To Me”. Now, the singer has worked with another popular rapper of the country, Eminem. Lil Wayne’s new track, ‘Drop The World’, featuring Eminem has been released this week.

The new track, which is a part of Lil Wayne’s new album, “Rebirth” is expected to be a great hit among the music fans of both artists. According to the report, the track reflects the image of Lil Wayne to a great extent. The lyrics of the track boasts of a brilliant mix of composition, that reflects Lil Wayne’s talent.

The release of the single, ‘Drop The World’ has made many of his fans even more eager about the release of the much awaited album ‘Rebirth’, would be followed by the track soon. However, the recent reports that surfaced about the new release date of the album has thwarted expectations a little. After a great delay, the album ‘Rebirth’ was supposed to release this month but the recent reports state that the release date of the album has been postponed once again to February 2010. Therefore, fans for now will have to remain content with the single only.

The reasons for the new release date has not yet been confirmed by any official source. However, there are speculations that the singer wants to release his new album just before his imprisonment sentence starts, so that people can enjoy his music even when he is in jail.
